The Santa Rita Union School District values its community: School Board, District Leadership, Teachers, Parents, and Students. All place significant value on the ability of SRUSD to successfully educate students within the context of a small, vibrant, and fully engaged district. Parent and Community involvement in School Site Council (SSC), District English Learners Advisory Committee, and the English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC) are important parts of building our community and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to be successful. School Site Council (SCC)
The New Republic Elementary School Site Council (SSC) is a forum for teachers, administrators, students, parents/guardians, as well as community members. The School Site council reviews and approves the school site plan, school budget, as well as provides oversight and guidance related to the academic program.
English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC)
The New Republic Elementary School English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC) is a forum for teachers, administrators, students, and parents/guardians, as well as community members. Members of the ELAC review the academic program at New Republic Elementary School, as well as the social and academic experience of our students who are learning English. The ELAC makes recommendations to the school site administration and faculty in order to better serve our students who are learning English.
