The Santa Rita Union School District is dedicated to reducing student absence rates and making school a place where every child feels supported and excited to learn. We know families face challenges that can make attendance difficult. That’s why SRUSD is your strong partner in helping your child show up every day, on time, and ready to learn.

Here are just some of the ways we support students:

• Free breakfast and lunch for all students
• Counselors, social workers, and mental health staff to provide social and emotional support
• Health & wellness services through nurses, psychologists, and community partners
• Expanded Learning Opportunities (after-school program) where students can engage in activities and socialize with peers
• Certificated teachers provide After-school tutoring for academic support
• Family liaisons to connect foster, homeless, and other students to needed resources
